The Brief

Midmer has been appointed to provide project management, procurement and operational change advice to Molton Brown as part of their on-going development roll out.

The Delivery

Midmer provided advice to the Molton Brown property team reviewing the current operational process and suggesting changes to increase speed, visibility and lower cost of future capital projects.

This commission is a great example of how Midmer works in partnership with high street retailers to manage, control and support not only the project delivery and procurement side of their business, but also to support operational process change that will drive value within the brands future development expansion strategy.

Achievements

After reviewing the current supplier network, Midmer highlighted where more value and lower cost elements could be achieved whilst maintaining the brand design concept.

 

A further exercise to value engineer and procure display equipment produced up to a 10% cost saving and also reduced the current delivery timescales by up to 20%.

  • Midmer’s retail knowledge provided forensic review of current operational process and changes required to improve transparency and internal team delivery achieving up to 10% savings on shopfit elements.
