The Brief
Midmer was appointed to complete full review of the JD Sports property, design and delivery teams and to provide a staged improvement plan to help them support their aggressive expansion across Europe and globally.
The Delivery
Midmer’s role involved reviewing each team within the JD Sports property department, each discipline's inputs, process tools, reporting, brand guidelines, store standards and organisational structure. This was a robust immersion into how each team operates within the overall programme, from feasibility, business case and acquiring a new store, to setting up robust brand design guidelines to support and monitor franchisee owners.
Achievements
Midmer spent 3 months with JD Sports and helped create a simpler, transparent programme and process with better tools for all. It improved productivity, reduced time on site, the cost of new stores, late design changes, and helped everyone in the team feel much more aligned and connected. A win win!
